    Administrative Assistant


    Senior Payroll Accountant



    Will perform payrolls for staff employees, maintaining employee records, voluntary and involuntary deduction reports, processing mentioned deductions, processing accounting transactions and related documentation.


    • Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of the department’s work in processing payrolls
    • Keeping confidentiality of payrolls.
    • Resolve pay inquiries.
    • Reconcile assigned payroll.​
    • Provide garnishment calculations and maintain garnishment compliance.
    • Provide support to HR in making changes required as a result of new labor agreements, laws, and policies.
    • Compose ad hoc reports to address requests.​
    • Prepare audit reports for health, welfare pension trust payments deductions and submit check requests for payments in a timely manner.
    • Prepare assigned journal entries and be accountable to tight month end timelines.
    • Provide information to outside and inside auditors.
    • Respond to inquiries during monthly preparation of financial statements.​
    • Provide support to both the Payroll Manager and Supervisor through task delegation.

    • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to organize workload and prioritize projects in an ever-changing environment.
    • Professional command of English language.
    • Knowledge of state and federal payroll tax codes.
    • Must be proficient with computer environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least 4 years of payroll experience;
    • Bachelor’s degree;
    • Multi-state experience;
    • CPP certification;

    Senior Payroll Specialist


    Our experienced and still developing company is looking to hire a Senior Payroll Specialist

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Performing full cycle biweekly payroll
    • Setting current task priorities and coordination of these with Payroll Manager, including interaction with HR and Finance Departments
    • Performing complex calculations, updates to payroll database and distribution of data to Departments mentioned
    • Processing new hires, termination, and related
    • Employee taxation and contractor payout reports
    • Review incoming tax correspondence and take action as necessary
    • Keeping up with tax calendar dates for tax filings
    • Preparing internal (hours, headcount, vacation, etc) reports
    • Maintain timely filing of reports, including interaction with Management
    • Working with Payroll Manager to coordinate audits
    • Resolving related discrepancies by performing primary analysis and data collection
    • Advising on process optimization if applicable


    • Experience and Education:
      • 4+ years in payroll required;
      • Strong knowledge of both employee and contractor taxation;
      • Degree required, Bachelor's preference;
      • CPP certification preference;
      • Multi-state experience;
    • Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of ADP and Excel/MS Office suite;
      • Well-developed communication and follow up skills;
      • High detail awareness;
      • Ability to work overtime if required;
      • Ability to handle confidentiality;
